DANIEL POLLERA Rambling coastlines, sun washed decks and romantically shaded porticos come to life under the brush of Long Island native Daniel Pollera. Originally from the coastal town of Freeport, Long Island, Daniel was primarily self-taught and created expressions of tranquility and peaceful solitude in each of his paintings. Using oils, Daniel worked in a warm pallet on board and drawing from life experience which lures the viewer in, with crisp photographic quality and magical realism with dramatic settings filled with light. His work has been purchased over the years by corporate and private collectors throughout the world. He donated his works to many charitable events such as the East End Hospice, The Guardian Brain Foundation, The Cancer Research Fund, and the South Shore Estuary Reserve Stewardship awards.
